Get5Bass Announces 2012 Lake Dardanelle Summer Series
Schedule
Get5Bass is proud to announce the 2012 Lake Dardanelle Summer Series
Schedule!!! This year's Summer Series will feature 4 qualifying
tournaments followed by a Championship. The top 3 teams in the points
following the championship will win great prize packages. First in the AOY
race will take home a package worth $1,000.00 which includes 2 Dobyns
Rods, 2 Lew's Reels, and other assorted prizes from Jewel Bait Company,
Spro, Big Bite Baits, Jackall Lures, Sunline, and Redneck Remedy. Second
in the AOY race will take home a package worth $400 which includes 2
Dobyns Rods and other assorted product from Sunline, Norman Lures, and
Redneck Remedy. Third in the AOY race will take home a package worth
$300 which includes 2 Lew's Reels and other assorted product from Sunline,
Norman Lures, and Redneck Remedy. Here is the schedule with more

The entry fee for the first 4 qualifying events is $50 per team (includes big
bass), per event. All entries will be taken the morning of the event prior to
launch at the ramp. Every angler fishing must be a member of Get5Bass
($25 per angler). Remember, if you fished the Winter Series, your
membership is still good for the Summer Series.
Only the top 20 teams in the points will be invited to fish the championship
(no subs in this event). The entry fee for the Championship will be $100 and
this is a double points event. The winners of the Championship will also win
trophies.
Payback at all events is 100% of entry fees. The top 25% (1 in 4) of the
field will receive a check at the ramp.

The third tournament for Arkansas’s Couples opened with sunny conditions
with temperatures in the high 50’s’. The 20 couples caught 68 fish weighing
121.57lbs with 6/5 fish limits.
First were Quincy Houchin and Tonya Fleming who weighed 5 bass at 12.24
lbs to win the tournament and earn $900.They used Jewel jigs and top water
frogs.
The third tournament for Arkansas’s Couples opened with sunny conditions

come to the Verizon ramp scales on Saturday, which set the stage perfectly for
one of the most exciting finishes in this year’s Student Angler Federation state
championship series.
At that point, Alexander Bartlett and Daniel Vogel from the Pa Briuns were
holding a slim one pound lead on the field with their 14.55 lb. catch when the
Greenbrier duo brought their winning bag to the scales. After a tense couple of
moments the LED readout showed 15.05 lbs. to edge out Bartlett and Vogel by
a half a pound to capture the 2012 State title. The team was also the certified
Angler award winners. The Arkansas Game & Fish presented the team with a
nice prize package that included a nice set of life jackets.

Kenny Owens and Nathan Martin Win the TNT Tournament on
the Arkansas River

Forty Four teams fished the 3rd Fish”N Stuff Tuesday Nite Tournament of the
year, catching 34 fish weighing 134.52lbs with 4/ 5 fish limits.
First were Kenny Owens and Nathan Martin who used jigs, buzz baits, and
other assorted lures to catch their 5 fish weighing 16.81 to earn them $860.
They also had a 4.55lbs lunker to earn $210 for big bass.
Second were Gary Hubble and Joey Korte who used jigs to catch their 5 fish
limit weighing 9.97 lbs. to earn them $350. They also earned $99 for big drum
of 5.02 lbs.
Third was Gary Stark who had 4 fish at 8.86 and earns him $135.
