Tournament: Horizon Trike and Marine Open
July 6th and 7th, 2019
Lake Dardanelle

Anglers: Frank Leone - 22nd place - 10 bass - 25.42 pounds -
Highest finishing Blazer Owner - $500.00

Practice: No Practice for this one...

Tournament Day 1: When my number was called I shot the Blazer to my starting location. On the way
there I was wondering whether or not this spot would pan out... I was pleasantly surprised to catch a 3.5
and a 2.5 pretty quickly. When the fish stopped biting, I headed out to the main river and got around some
current. Once there, I had one of those days where I got bit by good fish everywhere I was supposed to.
The afternoon bite was hot as well, and was full of fish catches. I ended day 1 in 12th place with 14.87
pounds...

Tournament Day 2: I headed straight to my starting location from day 1 to start day 2. This time, instead
of coming out of there with 2 fish that went 6 pounds, I came out with 2 fish that would weigh about 2.5.
The river bite was similar to day 1, but with many more shorts and smaller keepers. My best fish came from
banks that I didn't fish yesterday. About mid-day, it got slick calm, sunny, and very hot. I think that
negatively effected my bite. I ended day 2 with 5 that went 10.55...

Final Thoughts:
A decent finish. I would have liked to have had a better day 2 of course... After the
conclusion of the weigh-in, I found out that I won $500.00 for being the highest finishing Blazer Boats
Owner... All is well that ends well!!!

See ya' on the flip side....
